If the cliub are serious about winning a cup then they should start by trying to win this one. Since they have shown how useless they are in any other final/semi-final then this should be the place to start. As they say no habit like winning . . . . and United have a habit of losing.

Too right, last season it was all a big joke, taking the piss out of the scum, now we're plumbing the same depths, and still there are posters on here who think it's great to point out what a shambles they are, how little money they have, what a wank chairman etc etc.

To be honest I think we're in a far worse state, we have nothing at all going for us. No players, no money, a wank chairman and no hope at the moment. Absolute shambles of a club, and if one single fan has even the slightest bit of enthusiasm about our progress in this joke of a competition then we're in danger of losing the one thing that's always been pretty solid, a sense of realism from the "True Blades" :croc:

It's the one competition we can display our Silky skills as long as the midfield manage to offer more coverage than the opposition.
Like all good jobs it's all going to be down to the preparation.

That's the spirit, although I agree that our chances of reaching the vynil are thinner than you might expect.

To frame this competition in it's true context, before the window closes, Wilson needs to make more additions otherwise he will just be masking the issue.
Of course we could manage with what we have and merely scrape through but if wilson is able to smooth off the rough edges we could get a tidy finish.

As long at the players don't hit the wall it's feasible they could spray it about get some real coverage in the media.
