John Ryan a Blade.....????

I've heard this a few times in the last couple of days that John Ryan is a life-long Blade...............?

I think this has come from the comment he made on Radio Sheffield last Friday. He just said that we we're a good club, and that he even came to watch United when he was a lad, when Donny were away.

I don't think that classes him as a Blade. I think my grandad used to do similar when United were away when he was a kid. He would go to Rotherham, Chesterfield etc.

I think it's just people reading too much into comments!

He's also said he likes Sheff Utd and he is grateful to us that when they were at their lowest in the conferance, we helped them out and gave them football kits etc.
