He's had quite a journey. I didn't realise he'd played for England from U17 to U20 levels so he'd obviously shown potential. I'm also surprised to see he made 36 appearances for us in the first season back in the Championship. I think unfortunately for him, fans based their opinions of him on the 2nd half of that season where we'd lost Coutts and he was playing alongside Lee Evans. I remember that both of them seemed to need an age to control and move the ball. Obviously last season we brought in Ollie and Lunny only made 7 appearances, the highlight being his 'cameo' in the home game v Villa. Fair play to him, as some players may have thought their chance had gone when we were then promoted, but he's kept at it after 2 games it looks like we've signed a £10m midfielder for peanuts. Long may it continue.

Anyone else noticed the morons who slate Lunny always spell his name Lundstrum? Just shows you that its mainly the thick drongos in our fan base that cant see he's a proper player.

I don't know how much we paid for him (the fee was 'undisclosed') but his value must have rocketed since Sunday's performance.
Lunny for England. You heard it here first!
[I believe Southgate lives just north of Leeds so we may be seeing quite a lot of him at Bramall Lane this season]
