They shared that star article and made a comment about it, not a dig at the club but not great publicity though.

They got shit for it in the comments on Facebook and they deleted the post. They should never have shared it in the first place.

I would have cancelled the deal myself if i was chairman.

They're just second hand car dealers. Up market version of DC Cook. Or Arthur Daley. And all used car dealers are as straight as a corkscrew and would happily get every penny out of you they can, one way or another.

John Holland and Terry McCann didn't sponsor our shirt out of kindness. They wanted the publicity, as every other shirt sponsor does. They want out? Bye then. Don't let the door hit your arse on the way out.
 
I'm outraged the owners of the SME thought of their livelihoods and that of their staff's when a multi-million pound organisation placed them in a position where they were getting abuse in their workplace due wholly to the actions of the multi-million pound organisation. 'Kers.
 
Next season's sponsor is a Fortune 500 business based in China.

Fans don't usually know much about companies or have any empathy with them who act as sponsors . Whatever the reasoning of John Holland pulling out , they are known for selling cars that the vast majority of us fans cannot afford .

They have not done there kudos and standing in Sheffield much good IMO , and we certainly won't have been earning mega bucks from them.

Bigger problem for John Holland and Son , than it is for SUFC , with them pulling out . Let them stick to buying and selling cars and advertising in Auto Trader or that West Side magazine if it is still going .

We all find our level , and at the lane it can only be up , with some blue chip sponsors as success does finally come our way .

I have not read anywhere that they have dropped out of sponsoring us.

Although they only extended their sponsorship with us April last year but that was only for this season. So I assume the sponsorship deal with them is set to run out at the end of this season.
 
Fuck em. Christ I hope it is Ched related. To be fair that other lot were worse. Someone tell me they're fucking off as well and get that blue shit off our shirts

Confirmed John Holland is no more. Because Sheffield United have announced details if a kit launch competition to meet Chris wilder & exclusively see the new kit on the 7th June. No wonder I was told by few people they were selling off this season shirts off cheap

Afternoon Hallam FM presenter Ritchie Pearson will present a specially themed roadshow from the lounge featuring interviews with airport chief Steve Gill and Blades manager Chris Wilder before announcing details of the new club sponsor.
 
Nailed-on to be Flybe, seeing as this launch starts at their departure desk.

Not exactly exciting, but as an actual national company that people have heard of you would imagine they'll be paying a fair bit more than John Holland for the privilege.
 

All 3 have pulled out due to a massive price hike ,would have been much bigger if we had gone up. Also heard that one of them employs a media relations company on big money and they advised them on the Ched fiasco ,instead of just keeping quiet. That company would have been fucked off sharpish for me. Guy I know told me it was Alpha rooms on the shirt but text me earlier saying he thinks its now flybe ,but thinks alpha maybe on also unless they've pulled. No Idea about the actual kit though.
