Whatever people do or do not think.he's worth under wilder the progression to where we are has only been possible through wilder having money through player sales
People bandying about ridiculous valuations are just blustering at the end of the day wilder will do what's best for the club
True, but what you dont do if you really want to progress the club in stature and move it onto higher levels, is sell your best players unless the player either wants to leave, his contract is being run down, or you get silly money offered for them (and yes £50m for Egan would be very silly money). As it stands, scenario 1 and 2 do not apply.
So unless silly money is offered, Egan should be staying right where he is.
And then, if he was sold, we would then need to go out and find his replacement and that isn't gunna be cheap to find another player of his quality who can do it week in week out in the PL. If these players were easy to obtain, other clubs would source them from elsewhere and wouldnt be after Egan.
To me its obvious. Unless Egan or his agent start causing waves, then he stays at Utd unless silly money is offered. Hopefully he will stay at the Lane and help us to establish ourselves in the PL which is worth £100m plus each season to the club.
Oh, and it looks like £80 million player HM and £50m Wan-Bissaka are both proving just how much better they are than our defenders (and Egan) again tonight...
