Funny that the host assumed Egan was one of the overlapping centre-back.

United have a great opportunity to tap into the Irish connection and become every Irish fan’s favourite English club.

(The ones that don’t already support Liverpool anyway)

I'd like that, it would be great for us.

Egan
Stevens
McGoldrick
Callum Robinson?
Shane Long?

Egan's already done our reputation a lot of good with that song!

It seems Egan’s dad is a much bigger celebrity in Ireland.
It appears that John Egan is the son of a famous sports celebrity.

No talk about 'just staying up' re hopes for next season. I like it.

Don't fancy Long but would take Robinson in a heart beat.

Would also take Christie, O'Dowda and Browne too

His dad was an excellent Gaelic footballer apparently.

It seems he’s quite the song writer already

True.
Most of my family in Derry support either Liverpool or Man Utd.

My family in Clare support Liverpool, Spurs and Man U, also got a cousin in Tipp who is Man U. I've had messages of congratulations from them and promises to come over for our games against their teams Not sure how that's going to work, two cousins came over for the Spurs game last time we were in the Prem but I've a feeling tickets are going to be rarer than rocking horse shit this time around.

Anyone know if you can use your points to buy tickets in the away end?

I've been working on my Irish inlaws for the past 6 years, they're all crazy man u fans but have been getting very excited about our rise to the top. Get more texts about the blades from them than anyone else. We,re certainly their second team now

An article in the Irish Independent about Egan, interesting fact about us Man City and Atletico Madrid. We're being mentioned alongside a different class of club now, don't mention it to the S6 Massive, it'll only upset them even more, if that's possible. :D

On the downside how the hell did this happen?

Cherry Orchard are one of the top junior sides in Ireland
They play close to my house , at one stage they were Man city’s “ Irish club “ with youngsters going over for trials on a regular basis ,
Willo Flood , was signed by city from them ,
The set up they have is good , my lad played for them for a while , but I found it a very harsh ( hard ) setup , I thought it was hard on the kids

The Irish are fanatical about sport. The discipline imposed on GAA players when they reach county level is unreal. Going out for a drink with your mates during the season gets you thrown off the panel ( squad ), when you take into consideration that they're all amateurs it's incredible.

I'm old enough to remember when it was played a bit like rugby used to be before professionalism. It was always taken seriously because pride was at stake but off the field they would relax a bit, now it's professional in everything but wages!
