I hope it's not been shared this is years old but just come across it

I was there for that Christmas show. It was a great night, big production and Richard Hawley on form.

The singer Big Shaun left The Everly Pregnant Brothers a bit back. I’ve seen him a couple of times since, once doing the usual setlist with a different band (although a couple of the old EPB line-up we’re still in it, including Toby ‘Stranraer’ Foster). It was ok. Also saw Shaun doing stand-up a few months ago… the best can I say is he is experimenting with a different direction.

Most fun EPB gig was definitely at Magna Centre in Rotherham. Watched Hull beat the Pigs in the play-off final in Rotherham in a pub packed with Blades, Millers and other random fans, with a unified hate for Wednesday and glorious celebration when they lost. We sang all the way walking down to the venue. A few of EPB are pigs; at the start of the gig a couple came out with blue and white scarves and, fair play, took a fair section of the crowd’s piss taking and a rousing rendition of the Greasy Chip Butty song. I think Tony Christie was doing a set as well but my memory is hazy 🤣⚔️

EDIT: according to The Vicar Joe Root tried to join in but was rubbish 😉
