what is even more worrying is that the two centre halfs were even worse than him and that took some doing tonight. Basham cannot head a ball in a straight line and Edgar cant tackle

Can our £1.5m+ investment only excel for Nigel Clough?

Reluctant to slag him off mind, because of his obvious (& highly unusual) sacrifice in coming here. Whatever his limitations at times this season, he is one of the good guys.

Just wish he didn't need Clough to inspire him.

His current form is abysmal but I don't think having a settled "partnership" with a right sided attacking player is helping. For me Coutts isn't a wide player and he looks a shadow of the player who struck up a great rapour with Flynny when he first arrived
