Looking at them photos it's difficult to imagine that they were probably all in their twenties!

Keith Eddy looks like he drives a truck and murders you in the American mid-west.

Somewhere in my Parents' attic I have all those cards. I was 7 when they came out and collected the lot.

Woody looks about 50 (he was 27 I think) and TC looks like he is just off to audition for the part of Quasimodo.

The photos will have been taken during the 1972-73 season ready for the 1973-74 album (our 1973-74 kit had collar) so he would have been 26

Thanks

Another fun fact. On the back of the MacKenzie and Bone cards, they got details about the players mixed up, so MacKenzie is said to have Scottish caps, despite being English. That confused my 7 year old self :-)

Bobby Campbell too. I heard stories about him!

Used to see Jimmy Johnstone in the Crazy Daisy quite a few times when he was with United, looking the worse for wear it has to be said.

I think Campbell actually glassed someone in there one night which earned him the nickname "Pint Pot Bobby"

Jimmy Johnstone played a blinder in the 1-1 (Woody's powerful left footer can be seen in the 125 anniversary video) draw against Fulham and that was cos in the week leading up to the match he didnt have a drink. Bobby Moore, George Best and Rodney Marsh were playing for Fulham that day in front of a 28K plus crowd.

As for Bobby Campbell I heard that after one incident in 1978 the police rang Harry Haslam in the middle of the night to say that they were holding Bobby at a police station. In the previous year Huddersfield had enough of him and we let him go on a free after only one season
