He might not be a bad one to pick up on a permanent deal. He clearly has talent and he's barely played any games in his career. With the first serious run of games could come significant improvement. If he shows promising signs towards the end of his Oxford loan we should consider him.

But I believe he went to Watford because their offer of £20K a week (or was it £25K) was more than what Liverpool were willing to give him.

Suspect if we did try to sign him his stupid agent would demand £30K plus.

So the kid is destined for loan deals until his current deal runs out, and then he will be scrambling around looking for a club prepared to pay him the rate the agent demands to fulfill the players extravagant lifestyle and his agents bonus fee!

In other words his next contract will be lower champ at best...a third what he’s in now if he’s lucky, and probably short with extendable clauses set in the clubs favour.

After THAT deal he will be scrabbling around league 1/2 at best if he doesn’t get his head sorted, knuckle down and take some advice off a manager like Chris Wilder!
