Why is that a problem? If anything it’s a good plan, have a club lined up to move on the players that aren’t good enough so we can sign more ESC player.
How many of these players do you think Dunfermline can fund?

Need some answers from the club on this. Need to understand the relationship between Sheff Utd, James Bord and Jefferson Caceres (and the others).

We need to understand:

1. Whether we are fully compliant with all regulations around 3rd party ownership of players.
2. Whether we are signing players for our own competitive interests or involved in a scheme to enrich / launder funds of a man with tenuous links to the club.

I defended us making these types of signings, but now have concluded they are a distraction for the club. To the extent it hinders the first team (limits our ability to purchase 1st team players under these visas) we should stop right away with these recruitments. Our youth team has done great work over the years identifying undervalued talent being released from academies at elite British clubs - we should continue this strategy that has created pound-for-pound one of the best academies in the country.

1. If we sell Caceres to Dunfermline then there's no third party ownership as he'd be registered as their player as he would belong to them.

2. If it was that obvious that he was doing this then why would the owners partake in this? There's nothing in it for them. He could've just signed Caceres for Dunfermline in the first place and left us out of the equation.

Wish I had your confidence this was all above board. Seems sketchy AF to me.

I really don't see why and I don't see why everything has to be part of some conspiracy with some ulterior motive behind it. It's football ffs, not the Illuminati and New World Order. We're Sheffield United, a seemingly insignificant piece in the grand scheme of world football.

It's all well and good proposing some sinister plot, but ask the question why. Why would they do this? Why would they benefit from this?

I'm not saying don't ask questions, but it seems to me that the wrong questions are being asked for the wrong reasons.

There's been more conspiracy theories on here this summer than a MAGA rally. 🤣

Leon Briton, Andy Butler, Barry Hales, Jonas Wirmola, Dries Bousatta, Luke Beckett etc.
Can’t remember why Wirmola was sold but it certainly wasn’t for being rubbish. He was great if I remember correctly although didn’t stick around for long, it wasn’t a mistake by the club (the rest of your list however…..).

He was poor in the League Cup match at Blackpool

He could. But he wouldn’t have got his finders fee, his commission and a percentage of any future transfer depending on the deal in the background.

No we don’t. I pretty sure SUFC have solicitors.

If we bring in a player, sell him on and make money on him……..

I don’t think it’s as serious as all that to be honest

We have had a flyer on a couple of low cost gambles - ukaki looks like he might have a little something about him. This guy is probably not at the levels we hoped. So the next step would be to move him on.

Its no different that poaching some of the released academy lads you mention.

For every Brooks (David or Andre) or Peck or random flyer like N’daiye I’m sure there are 3/4 we’ve never heard of because they have moved on because they weren’t good enough,

Legitimately there are questions of its the best used of our limited resources and limited foreign spots. And ALSO if guy picking them is any good at it but there are almost certainly going to be more misses than hits. But if you pick up 1 Ndaiye who fires you to promotions or you sell for £15/20m it’s paid for its self

I'm all for that - and I am happy with the idea that you bring in a few prospects and most fail but some make the first team- its still worth it. I just want to know the ins and outs of our relationship with James Bord. If we do sell to Dunfermaline, and its because we needed to offload Caceres at short notice to bring in the Swedish CB, then whats going on there? Was there an agreement to do that if we needed to in a pinch? What is Bord's financial interest in all this? Is it in Dunfermline's interest to bring in Caceres on a perm (is it an area of need, does he fit the system etc)?

I don't care about Dunfermerline, but if we have players moving in and out of our club for anything other than genuine for the competitive/financial interest of the respective clubs then it raises suspicion.

I asked the question on this forum on whether we would be able to get rid of one of the ESC players this summer to free up a spot for the first team if necessary (I referenced Nwankchu at the time) and I was jumped on for wanting to get rid of these players so soon without giving them a chance, yet here we are. It didn't make sense we would constrain our first team recruiting like this. It was odd.

I was also the first on the forum to highlight that the Dozy situation didn't add up.

When something doesn't look right, I think its reasonable to ask questions.

We only have a set amount of work permit exemption slots and that’s 4 and we’ve signed 4 players using those slots so if we want to change the 4 players we have those slots allocated to we need to ship players out to make room. It’s not money thing it’s a player registration thing.
Get some experienced English players in ya tight arsed gets
