I see one of the keepers we were looking at Etheridge at Walsall has joined Mr Warnock at Cardiff , sounds like we're looking to bring a loan keeper in now & moving Long out on loan.
On a side note it's also quoted that Millwall & Bolton have placed offers in also for Ryan Leonard .. when did Bolton have transfer embargo lifted or are they paying with Drachma / Pesatas ?

Our interest in the Walsall player, like the Bolton bid are why the rumour section exists. Neither have anything concrete behind them.

If anyone is interested, George Willis - who signed for Gainsborough Trinity last November - didn't last long there. He spent most of the time on the bench, so he has now signed for Boston United (in the Conference North, like Gainsborough).
It must be difficult for any young keeper to get regular first team action.

1. Difficult for George, because he wasn't the biggest, but he was certainly talented.

2. When did Millwall and Bolton suddenly become so appealing? Leonard - you are one of our top targets and we've won the league at an absolute canter, without getting all big bollocks, we're a much more promising proposition.

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place but I can't anywhere on the internet where it says Bolton or Millwall have made offers for Ryan Leonard.

Southend have said that both Millwall and Bolton have "shown interest".
Remember it's in Southends interest to make out that as many clubs as possible are showing an interest as it usually drives up the asking price.

Where as regards us they've said we've made 2 official bids and both were rejected.
"Showing interest" doesn't mean theyve placed any offers.
