Before I get pelters, I know he has played for England u18, he has a bright future, let's hope we build around a few young uns like him and not sell, which I think we may have done in the past....He played like a proper striker tonight, something that we have lacked all season.

What I liked about this kid, he's got that Blade mentality. There was a moment where Didzy slipped him a ball down the right channel and he got into a race with Godfrey. Anyway, Godfrey got forced into playing it for a corner not before Jebbison shoulder barged him but it was the look Jebbi gave him after he put him in his arse letting him know what Dem Blades are about.

I feel a bit vindicated after saying for years that if you know how to score goals it doesn't matter how old you are.

Different for defenders and keepers who need the experience of dealing with wily strikers, but if they know how to caramelise the onion bag, get them in the team.

Played like a proper striker, put the ball in the net, didn't panic, didn't shank it, didn't try and control it.

And hung around in the right places, unlike most of our strikers who are either offside or on the wings.

Need to give him a good contract.

Only at U18s at the minute, if the lad ends up not good enough for England then he would be able to play for Canada.

Think he’ll prove to be more of a target man type than a fox in the box type striker as he gets older although billy has added a bit to his game as a line leading striker. Think the difference is he’s an out and out 9 which other than mousset we don’t really have.

They have had a few decent players in the past but Davies and David look the real deal for Canada, unfortunately Jonathan David couldn't play in the March games. There is also Cyle Larin who plays in Turkey, he looks decent aswell.

Hopefully I will be able to see Canada in a world cup soon.
