I’m more upset about Osborn leaving than Jebbison. Attitude and ability were far below where he needed to be for the last 2 seasons and he’s injury prone as a relatively young player.

I wish him as well as it’s nice to see academy kids kick on but I personally think he’ll end up playing below the Championship on average over the course of his career.

He’s been waiting for a better (or any) offer for 6 months, he’s obviously now got himself fit and got one.

Obviously hi head has been turned by offers from Ipswitch. ? Everton? .
He now has to fight his way through a minefield to become a prem player , no easy ride there. Will be interesting to see if he gets the opportunity he had with us.
Compo ? At most possibly 2 million hope it is more.
Peanuts to prem teams so Jebbo will find it tough to break through as he is just a small gamble to them.

There was certainly a player with potential in there,even with being a young player,over a year out with issues is a long time. Time will tell soon enough whether he can cut it. We don’t know what he’s been offered,but it’s a pity that the club have supported him and paid him thousands over the duration. Good luck to him and hopefully doesn’t come back to bite us in the bollocks.

Pity about his injury.

He would have had opportunities last season as well.

But after a while with young players it can get a bit congested.

Osula in the mix. Marsh looking well above the u21 level. Oné is well developed from a strength perspective. Then you have your seniors and at some point they have to get games.

As I say, pity because had she navigates the past few years differently he could have got the games he craves. Got send off at the wrong time vs Wrexham and then the injury.

I suppose it all comes down to a bit of cash coming in now which may well unblock the incomings.

I am intrigued as to where he will end up. There is no doubt somebody will sign him. He is essentially free, except for compensation. so wher he goes will be dependant on wages and opportunities. The clubs which offer the higher wages say bottom half Premiership and top half Championship will give him less opportunity. I really can't see any of these clubs thinking oh here is our first choice striker, not on what they have seen. More opportunities would come with a club top to mid championship but I still can't see him as an automatic starter. Strikers especially young ones are always first to take the blame when things are not going right for a team/manager. Unless he hits the ground running opportunities could rapidly dry up. Looking around I think the best club he could sign for would be, well, us!

There are a number of posts on here talking about his advisors. I posted yesterday about his agents being cassius-sports. They have 13 players on their books and apart from Oxlaide Chamberlain and Josh Brownlow there is nobody elserbof note. If Jebbison is taking their advice he will probably end up at the arse end of nowhere or worse the snort beasts

Diego De Girolamo was far far better than Jebbo but had a similar amount of time out at a similar age and unfortunately never made it above league 2. He's been at Buxton forever but somehow seems to be doing quite well for himself.

The club wouldn’t commit to making contract extensions at that time, effectively allowing them to run down.

Supporters on here commented numerous times about the issues that would ensue with all the forthcoming out of contract players that would hit us at the end of the season and that has proved to be the case

He played sharp ahead of him last season. He didn’t see a pathway into the starting line up.

Didn’t sign any of the young ones to long term deals.

Did everything to keep him? Played sharp ahead of him, and let him have 12 months on his deal and didn’t organise anything. Then we made a last ditch attempt to get him to sign, shambles.
