Jayden Bogle, what has happened?!

The guy thinks he is big time already, maybe he needs to grow up a bit racing up Shoreham St at 60mph in his Chelsea tractor before games impresses no one, it just makes him look a bit of a prick. He needs taking aside for a talk or he could be the next Mousett, time to stop being flash and work on his game, otherwise if we do get promotion he could find himself being sold. Swap him for Aaron at Norwich if we go up.

Even the best players lose form, something could be going on personally that's affecting him or he's literally just going through a very very bad spell because of what we've seen of him before this spell, I believe there's a potential cracking player in there, I'm sure he will turn it around soon enough.

He’s still young, but seems to have lost that bit of directness that made him dangerous. It’ll come back, he just needs to find a bit of form. Whether the last 6 games of a promotion scrap is the time to find that is up for debate, but with injuries/sickness we don’t have much choice.

To be fair we have got 4 LWBs out.
I know mate and it means playing somebody out of position but that has to be better than what we are getting out of him at the minute - currently he’s a liability. A more worrying fact and I refer to Lowe more than Bogle‘s demeanour is they don’t seem to give a fuck either…. I mean where are the bollockings and rows between the players when mistakes are made, I don see them? Do they really want this enough?

Never been good defensively & always been a bit suspect going forward. I don’t know why half our fan base wank themselves silly half the time about him. Fukin ‘J Bogez ⚡’ all o’er Twitter at times.
Give it a rest.
Baldock shits all over him.

There are a few players who have been carried by the rest and really need to step up and do their bit.

Brewster is another who has some sort of Premier League confidence about him yet he's either injured or underperforming. I can literally think of 6 games where he had a good spell. Due to the efforts of others he'll get a nice wage uptick.

Last promotion you got the sense everyone did their bit. It does feel there are a few free riders this time who need to acknowledge things are going their way due to efforts of others and those fit need to step up.

Bogz played like an u12 tonight.
Muscled off everything and didn't defend all night (proven by the first goal). When he got the ball to feet he panicked and gave it away. Very poor game.

After the Benny Hill moment.... Instead of removing Robbo, Hecky should've switched Robbo to LB and George back to RB.
I think taking off Robbo (instead of Bogle) was a mistake that Hecky alluded to in one of post match interviews. Talking about what was said between him and Robbo, Hecky hinted it was heat of moment reaction to the mistake by him and Wes. Sure he would have taken Bogle off in hindsight

He can be an exciting player to watch and bag some goals too - probs just having a bad patch.

Bogle could learn so much from Baldock.

I like Bogle, really talented going forward, gives us a different threat and crops up with a goal. He plays like a Brazilian in the school yard, tons of ability, at his best a joy to watch, likes the odd trick and flick but so laid back and casual that it’s as though he’s not trying. Lowe had this habit too like he’s going through the motions happy to do the bare minimum.

Compare this to Baldock who isn’t as talented but so focussed, pumped up with a winners mentality.

I’d still persevere with Bogle though, at his best he’s better than Baldock but Baldock is more consistent, more reliable with a stronger will to win.

So obvious what he should have done , do you think Heck overthinks things at times and wont do the obvious ?

Just play basham at right wing back Better than boggle both defensively and going forward Dies not go missing Ok he is not great at right wing back but I know he is at least as good as boggle
Why would you select Basham over Baldock?

Remember when Bogle first arrived and he was all over the place (as in all over the pitch), popping up on the penalty spot to score goals etc.
Now he seems to play where he’s supposed to all the time, and looks a shadow of that player.
We might as well tell him to go back to what he was doing before - the worst that can happen is we give away a bucketful of chances and regularly get hammered. Which is what happens now anyway.

The main thing that I've noticed is that he looks scared to have the ball, which is a big fall off from the Bogle of a year or two ago, of even the one that first came that would take on his man and get in the box to be a goal threat. His drop off in possession and how uncomfortable he looks, is quite scary when you consider that was this main strength and would possibly let him get away with a few pieces of shoddy defending cause of how much he could offer us going forward.

He didn’t look too uncomfortable in possession when he scored against Man City just a few weeks ago.

Fell to him nicely and it was a nice finish, but that's the only significant thing I can remember him this whole year? I just think has looked out of nick for last 12 months and I can't remember the last time he beat a man, which he used to do a fair bit and was one of our better attacking outlets.

Around the time we got relegated from the PL, he was seen more favourable amongst our fanbase than Baldock, I don't think many agree with that now. He's had a lot of injuries which will have held him back but it just feels like he's stalled if not gone backwards since then.

Since the injuries he's miles off the standard and it's no surprise

He's probably the worst full back in the league physically

We needed Baldock to stay fit for 32+ games but obviously that's too much to ask

His form seems to have fallen off a cliff, then been washed out to sea only to be terrorized by surf nazis prior to being attacked by toxic waste fuelled dolphins.

My main concern is how much room he gives top players. Martinelli yesterday and Rushford the previous week.

Said 2 years ago, his best position would be as an athletic ball carrying box-to-box midfielder. Nothing I've seen since has changed my view because as a full back he's not very good at defending...

He cannot defend and in a back 4 in our side he’s very limited to how he can attack when we cannot string a pass together.

Injury.
Breakdown of further injury.
Lost trust in his body.
Trying for increased discipline defensively, in the hardest league in the world, and not letting his man get in behind.
Now a RB not RWB. Less licence to get forrard.

He's playing a simpler game, rightfully, so as not to lose position regularly when trying to dribble.
But as we've always known, he's not a natural defender.

I'd like to see him wide right, ahead of Baldock at RWB if we continue with a 4-5-1 type formation.

I think it's hard to know how well he's playing when we as a team we're struggling.
