A lot of our fans still don't like Coutts.

I don't know any now who don't like him and I did know quite a few who didn't.

I've berated him on many occasions and deservedly so, fortunately Wilder found the player he was from about 4 years ago when Preston and Derby fans rated him.

When we get a corner at the Kop end you get the sense that everybody around you appreciates now what Coutts brings which is better late than never as far as I and many others are concerned.

He needs to keep it up next season though and not take his foot of the pedal, it seems we have a manager who'll be able to help him stay in good form. Ultimately, Coutts himself needs to be the one to push himself to the limit, it will be a big test for him and many others next season.

And maybe Jason Lowe?
