Give me strength. If he's better than the likes of McAllister et al then we really may as well pack up.

"Blackpool have made Jason Euell available on-loan. The Mirror says Euell is set to be allowed to leave Blackpool on loan.
Midfielder Euell, 33, was a target for Sheffield United, Hibernian and one of his former clubs, Charlton, in January.
Euell did not make Blackpool’s revised 25-man Premier League squad and will be looking for a new opening when the loan market re-opens."

It is only the Mirror though ;)

It wouldnt be the worst signing ever IMO. Getting on a bit but he's always been a decent player. Versatile as well, but he has peaked there is no doubt about that. Sadly though Jim, he is probably a lot better than what we've got!

Blackpool should make Andy reid available for loan, its not like he's getting any first team action

If you'd heard the reaction from the Pool fans round here you might think twice !

Would he provide the guile for midfield, pace for the wings, goal scoring up front, no. Can't see any point in this signing whatsoever if true, hopefully, if it's true that we were looking at him, it was before we got Doyle.

But he can pass a ball 5 yards Jim. Something one or two of our players lack. Pool fans can say what they like to be honest, I've seen him play plenty of times and he's always looked decent. We need the experience at the moment as well.

Its not a signing to set the pulse racing no, but a practical one? Probably. We still need a wide player though.....I think the strikers we have will score plenty with the right service and once Ched stops having to run out wide to fetch the ball.

He was excellent in his 1st game for them by all accounts until he not surprisingly ran out of steam on 60 mins. Holloway's into rotation now and made a few changes for the Everton game.

So who would he replace in the team, what position would we play him in ? He may have been decent(ish) a few years ago but the Pool fans can't understand how he gets near the squad now and has been useless whenever he's featured.

He's a better option than Monty at the moment (for starters) and from what I've seen of Doyle he's probably better than him as well.....even at 33. I could see Williamson and Euell working quite well. No doubt if we did get him that wouldn't be our pairing though.

We both know it'll be Monty and AN Other. He had the chance to replace Monty with Doyle but didn't.

Just one for the statos.

There was an article on him a few weeks ago and apparently he's 'earnt' in excess of £15M from football throughout his career !

Unless Coops' rumour is true of course ;)

Tell you what Jim, on current form I would swap Ward and Monty for Euell and Tongey any day of the week!

If Doyle is going to become an integral part of things in midfield I dont see why we need Monty to be honest.....as good a servant as he's been.

Good that means we dont have to pay him much now.

Jason we will offer you a peters pie per game and a cuppa bovril.

Unlucky so it seems he is really desperate for a Peters Pie now then. :)
