My Predictions..

Tickle.

Jack Robinson

Harry Clarke

Jack Rothwell.
Hope your taking the piss
Was just going to say who realistically is coming in because we aren’t going anywhere this season. really it’ll have to be pretty low fee loans for players who want game time
Its just got to be some average player/players, what can keep us up, after tonight's debacle! Limp along till the end of the season& then flush this fckg tripe out!

I hope we don't waste too much money in January.

This is a nothing season. We're definitely not troubling the top six and (although we're flirting with it) I don't think we're bad enough to go down.

If we get offers for Hamer / Peck we should pay attention and - if opportunity allows - bring in younger players to help with our rebuild.

We've saddled ourselves with some really daft contracts (4 years for Chong & McGuinness), whilst our better players don't have long to run.

I'm happy enough to stick with Wilder for the rebuild. I don't think we have the infrastructure or financial resources to aim much higher and he's a steady pair of hands at this level.
Agree with this tbh.

We aren't going to go down, you can just tell when a team is relegation fodder and we aren't that, we are an inconsistent mid table team, and we will finish somewhere between 10th and 18th I imagine.

January is a notoriously difficult and expensive window. Being mid season, every comes with a premium for the inconvenience. Unless there are some cheap gems like Bamford we should be looking at just sending loans back and getting new ones in.

My guess is that Bamford will get a lot of interest so will be hard to keep (but lets hope) Peck and Hamer off. I’d love to think we could recoup something for Cannon but fear not.

This is what I feared and why I didn’t want Wilder back.
He will keep us up but he's not good enough to take us to the next level.
So do you let him waste money in January ? or just allow him a couple of loans (and hopefully get rid of a few of the dross), then get rid of Wilder at the end of the season and start from scratch again.
I have no idea as none of us do if our owners have money or not, but we loose the parachute payments next year so its going to be tough even if they do have money.
So do we let Wilder use some of that budget in which case we become the new Stoke of the division finishing bottom half to mid table every season with crowds dropping to around the 20 - 22k or do we forward plan and give ourselves a chance of not becoming Stoke Mk2.
There are risks of course if we did get rid of Wilder at the end of the season and we would have to get the new manager right. But we are going to have to make that decision sooner or later and I for one would do it at the end of the season.

Though Robbo's time with us is over and done with, he must be laughing tonight.

Through force of will he scrambles Brum's equaliser against Derby, then had a piledriver from distance just pushed over the bar and late on had an excellent header hit the crossbar. He wasn't a Premier League level defender but he's solid at Championship standard and one thing he never lacked was bottle.

And if he wasn't already in a happy enough mood, this evening he watches a defence for which he was declared surplus to requirements, show how clowns defend their goal.
And 95% of the time he’d have been as bad he’s a liability

We had that chance last summer and what a mess they made of that
It’s that big a mess it will take a few years to get right unless we have a lot of dosh to throw at it, which we don’t
Let’s just concentrate on staying up this year spend zero wait until the summer
If it’s Wilder give him a small budget
