I'd say we've wasted enough on loans this season and should look to minimise loan spends now for the remainder

We are already a top 2 form team.

yeah see your point captain and a good one its a stick or twist situation isnt it suppose it depends whos available in january would love rothwell to come in because at present he would go straight in to our midfield with peck out and arblaster obviously been brought back too soon but the number 1 january priority has to be a keeper we cant keep playing cooper every game with his injury issues and davies a liability

If Rothwell isn't good enough for us then who is, he's a more than capable midfielder who'd be coming into a generous bang average championship side this season. He'll be fine.

One negative mind, is the lack of playing time this season but I suppose the only chance we have of signing anyone this window with abit of quality is they are all going to be in a similar scenario at their current clubs.

A player may have played quite a few PL games but is then displaced by incoming signings, so becomes available.

We are in need of:

GK - Cooper needs actual competition - allows younger keepers to be sent out on loan
RB - Competition and cover for Seriki - lads shattered
LW/RW - Replacement for Barry and Ogbene
Striker - Campbell is not fit, One needs to go out on loan, we need a striker who can play on the counter.

I believe that some of our new loan players we will get will be in the list pictured - players not registered in the PL 25 man squad, however are eligible to play as born on or after 1st Jan 2004 (Under 21 player) Ignore Southampton as this list includes teams who play in the PL U21 top division as well

I don’t think they need to be included in the 25 because of age, but are first team players and obviously won’t be going anywhere. We had the same with Arblaster not having to be included for squad size purposes.

This....sorry avid footy manager player here so specifically requested the information to be so they didn't take up a squad place. Now obviously some names are ridiculous, however it shows what is potentially available. Id love us to tap into city's academy again. We have a good relationship with them. As we do with MU as well.

Struggling to pinpoint any game changers though which are realistic. That's what we need. Wilder also stated personality is required so will be interesting.

What the obsession with Souttar from our lot? Given the injury he’s had I wouldn’t go near him unless he’s proven his fitness. That injury could ruin him.

Souttar in Jan would be just stupid. Souttar in the summer after he’s played a dozen games would be a real statement of intent from the board.

I made the selection with a view to being in the Championship next year but it's a player who could also step up to a higher level.

Dan Neil's would be a decent signing on a permanent for cover, I suggested myself a loan before Jairo upturn in form, fitness and contract extension.

id rather us move for Hamza Choudhury. Can cover multiple positions and more experienced, also knows the set up already and the place.
