Probaby yes but McBurnies current value is now 10 million and we’d do well for any Championship club to afford that amount.
if we keep him and he plays well and scores a few in the PL his value goes up to nearer 20 million.

He’s still young, so likely to improve.
Its like playing the stock market, we‘ve overpaid for McBurnie because we are very confident his value/ standards will go up.
He’s not adjusted to the PL so he can‘t be given a PL price. Top valuations paid by Championship clubs is around 10 million.

Might be better to stay patient with McBurnie and wait.
His value can’t drop any further but it can shoot up.

Also we’ve seen loads of examples at SU where players have initially been underwhelming and written off by our fans.
Then after 1 or 2 years they massively improve under Wilder and become star players.
