Didn't we release him so that he could sign for Fradi? Why would we do that if we were going to look at bringing him back later? Or is it just a way around the season loan thing?

i dont get why we released him tho, season loan fine but he is a genuine good ball player with confidence. he pings it out to the wingers like hes beckham! i am only annoyed so much cos over the last 2 years, how much quality have we had in the middle of the park? none really, other than speed, but hes not been amazing, not contributed like mccall did. it just leaves me puzzled that we are content with howard quinn and monty. i havent seen enough of williamson to comment but fingers crossed hes capable of running midfield by himself!

well i cant recall if tonge came through acadamy or straight from man u to our 1st team, but tonge was prob best on his day, and prob still better than what we got now. i'd be happy to get him back on loan for 6 months with williamson being injured.

I was speaking to James a few months ago just after his initial spell over in Hungary. He said it was time to leave United if his career was to progress. He seemed to accept he wasn't in the pecking order and had no axe to grind with anyone.

dont think the acadamy had anything to do with brown? i'd give my leg to get someone in at the min who performed how brown did. 100% and quality with goals. fantastic.

i see we have fotheringham on trial, remember he caught my eye when i saw him play for norwich, he would be very acceptable for me. anyone think differently?
