Yes to Doyle, Archer I don't think will happen and I feel we've moved on from O'Brien.

That what you want? Or think?Yes to Doyle

Pretty sure bothe Doyle and Mcatee said they don't envision themselves playing Championship football anymore in their careers.
Not saying they won't, but at this stage doubt they will accept a championship move.

I reckon we'll get Doyle.
Archer would be an amazing but tough signing, and I highly doubt we'll get either of the City lads.
Ooh, I like that thinking. C'mon Pep, you know it makes sennse!!!I wonder if the arrival of Hamer will persuade City to loan us one of the 3 so they can play alongside him ?
Surprised we haven't gone for the Plymouth or Rotherham lads to be honest. Would love Amissah to get a good loan.Agree on this. Would still like us to get another keeper in if possible. Henderson doesn't look like he's going to Forest now - could we loan him?
I think they do medicals (or part of) at Claremont sometimes (or at least they did). So maybe they were full/busy?Hamer said he had his medical in Manchester. Why was he having his medical there and not Shirecliffe? Is it because TD was having his at the same time and they wanted to get both signed up at once?
Probably on strikeI think they do medicals (or part of) at Claremont sometimes (or at least they did). So maybe they were full/busy?
You believe we get Junior Doctors off the wards to perform our medicals?Probably on strike
Wouldnt surprise me if a hospital porter did John Ebbrell's all those years agoYou believe we get Junior Doctors off the wards to perform our medicals?
I know Lowe isn't rated especially but haven't we signed another LWB? If so, if RND is likely back in the next few months then why would we sign another? Am I missing something?Yep - despite losing Ndiaye
But there's a chance now that we do all this good work, only to be let down by GK and LWB
Wonder if we could stretch to strengthen in one of those areas too. Doubt it. But that would be necessary to really complete this window

I was joking BobYou believe we get Junior Doctors off the wards to perform our medicals?
I'm just assuming (and yes, I know.....)We had some news on RND?
I thought that was strange as well why would you go all the way to Manchester for a medical.Hamer said he had his medical in Manchester. Why was he having his medical there and not Shirecliffe? Is it because TD was having his at the same time and they wanted to get both signed up at once?

The medical was for Man City. His agent texted him saying we'd outbid them, so he walked out of it.I thought that was strange as well why would you go all the way to Manchester for a medical.

Think we deffo look a much more attractive proposition than we did this time yesterday!I wonder if the arrival of Hamer will persuade City to loan us one of the 3 so they can play alongside him ?
Yeah, McAtee being the main guy on attack on a Premier League team should be the trial by fire City should be looking for for him. You don't want him to be just another guy, you want him to show that he can be the guy. Would also show how he handles pressure.'If' City do make McAtee available for loan, I wonder if being a more direct replacement for Ndiaye, will strengthen our hand despite being a weakened team. There were some rumours that City wanted him to play in a team that would have more possession, but while we won't ever dominate play, he would now be the first player we are looking to get on the ball in the final third, probably our main goal threat as well. I remember him saying, that he saw himself more as a forward playing off the centre forward, which is where he played for City's U23s.
Unsure if this has any knock on effect to palmer / macca loan options

Who is??Neither Palmer nor McAtee are anywhere close to being a replacement for KDB
