Chill out. A kid didn't get a shirt. He'll survive. He didn't even know who Mcatee was. His mums reaction is everything that's wrong with modern society. Kids are getting blown to smithereens all over the world to give it some context. Personally I'll not be losing any sleep over it.
 
No matter who the kid supports, if it's anyone but City he shouldn't have the shirt. They should go either to a genuine fan of his team or to a charity. Why not a ballot for it instead of the little creeps all at the front of the stand begging for it.

A kid that didn't even know who Macca was and is still obviously too young to have picked a team that he actually supports...so the shirt will most likely have ended up on ebay either through his parents or through the lad himself when he hits 17, has a season ticket at the sty and Macca is an England regular.

Could have been a great chance to introduce the lad to friendly football rivalry, bit of a lesson about not always getting what you want, little bit of teaching him to be able to laugh at himself...how if you support one club, then their rivals fans/players will banter with you...instead he's now been taught that you should always be given everything you ask for and if you aren't, then you just go straight on social media and start labelling people as cruel and evil.

Hopefully he doesn't grow up to be another entitled melon that's unable to take no for an answer, too many of them around as it is

Let’s put this in context. His mum was after the shirt not him, he saw kid in Swilsbro fancy dress his mum had put him in and her begging his Citeh shirt as a trophy. When he rumbles what’s going on he withdraws. Dint shout abuse, dint stick his fingers up at kid, he just changed his mind when he realised the mum was being opportunistic and not a genuine fan.

I say well done Macca. The kid had just had a birthday treat being taken to a champions league game. Bet his mum got lots of selfies at arms length with a Facebook false grin to boast to her social media following mates and mums net.

Just been ont news over 900,000 yes NINE HUNDRED THOUSAND kids in England will go to sleep tonight without a bed or bedding. I’m sure Oakland will sleep tight after being lavished with a night out that cost more than a feckin bed.

It costs £150 to provide a full kids bed kit. Sell the shirt for £300 and give a couple of kids a bed to sleep in.

Not sure how there are so many kids without beds when I worked for DWP parents used to claim £840 every year for new beds, makes you think they probably spent it on football tops and champions league tickets instead

Just to clarify my position.

I don’t think shit housing a kid is clever. Having said that, the mother was 100% a dick and is a typical Karen. Parents are role models and that kid is going to grow up steeped in entitlement. Society is already steeped in it.

I meant no criticism of McAtee, all I was meaning was I wouldn’t have done it. The mother however is fair game.
