Jamal is the first name on the teamsheet.

get in the prem , wont be a problemHis wages will be as big an issue as any fee.
Overall, it’s Catch 22, the better he does the less likely that we will be able to afford him!
Couldn't have said it better! So some don't rate him in because of a mistake he might make ?? Eh ?

I agree.
He has done well but I still have an uneasy feeling that he will prove to have some real "bombscare" moments a la Simon Tracey.
Let's hope that they're very infrequent, or better still I'm totally wrong.
He's one of four players we have whos names describe what they are.
Five surely?
Jamal, Billy, Chris, Jake and Kieron for me.
Jake once used 'there' instead of 'their' when referring to something which belonged to Carl Asaba on Twitter. So no.
I had Ben down, but not Chris.

He can be a bit hesitant, rather than decisive, when he comes off his line, but well done to the lad so far.
Interesting post. I like to read a post which makes me think at the end that I've learnt something that hadn't occurred to me. Mind you, it looks like it's your wife that deserves the credit."Hesitant rather than decisive", I know what you mean and there's no doubt that his technique and reactions are different.
I'm coming to the opinion that he is quite the opposite to most keepers who think it is imperative to make their minds up quickly and commit 100% to their decided actions.
Blackman has a mighty physical presence in every situation. His instinct tells him to pause in many situations others would commit. Up to now it has hardly failed him and I'm sure his mighty presence, coupled with the 'pause', confuses the opposition striker who also hesitates. By holding his ground and being so big, the striker has a lot to do to get the ball past him.
My wife says he plays "like a cat" - waits and waits and then springs into life. Certainly once he does decide to commit he moves very quickly.
for once we have two Keepers that are more than capable, in fact in most positions we have not cover but someone who is more than Capable to step in, we have a team through to the very core all interchangeable and each ready to play there part over the season.
Its a very beautiful time to be a blade and see our beautiful club being what it should have been for years, the perfect storm is happening, not sure where we will end up but loving the ride.
The vital tools that successful managers have to equip themselves with are:
1. good players.
2. a balanced squad with good cover in all areas of the pitch.
What about him putting the net back on the crossbar at the start of the second half ,he didn't even have to straighten his arm ,we used to have to get on shoulders to take the nets down when I was playingThere were a few balls into the box v Ipswich which I thought were too high and Jamal
calmly plucked them from the sky...there’s a song in there somewhere![]()
Presumably the Ben on loan at Donny. There may be another one - do we know what Donaldson's father is called?Jake once used 'there' instead of 'their' when referring to something which belonged to Carl Asaba on Twitter. So no.

its a moot pointIt's worse than that though.
After potentially making one really bad mistake, he could then go on to make a second, third or fourth. So you see he is potentially catastrophe prone, possibly, perhaps.
