I really think Wilder made an error letting JCR go. Sure he could be frustrating, but equally he was exciting with pace and the ability to beat a man. He's the sort of player who could come off the bench and help change a game. Currently we have no-one in the squad who does this. Looking at the bench this season is thoroughly underwhelming.

Our current right midfielder (I won't call him a winger), Duffy, strikes me as a bit of a "luxury player" that perhaps could perform well in a good, talented side but I'm unsure if he'll work out for us. I fear he might be too lightweight, fingers crossed he can prove me wrong.

He's gone to Barnet for a reason. We need to be doing so much better. Unfortunately we haven't as yet.

You've got to love post-match posts.

Releasing JCR was not a mistake. He was appalling at what he was required to do. The issue is we have not improved/replaced.

He did score that goal for gillingham, I think it was, where he took it from his own box all the way up field and scored. For that alone he should have got a big money move to Spain or somewhere where they don't do proper scouting. I agree though, he tried but isn't the answer to anything for us right now.
