Guillaume Barrie syndrome would seem to be a very difficult condition for an athlete to overcome but GLTTL

Wouldnt be the first to take there second chance if offered.
Vardy is a classic example.
Came right through having played for Stocksbridge.
Released by pigs due to a
Naughty boy period as a teenager.
Functioning alcoholic whilst at Leicester until the owner’s son had a word in his ear about wasting his opportunity. Then knuckled down and finished off one of the best stories in football. Although if they make a film out of it I doubt the casting would allow for the hero to look like Steptoe.

Looking at the "kids" he played with on youtube, I found it surprising how few names I recognised in his prem league 2 games (west ham), would have though more of them would have come through in 3 years?

Wilfred Bramble will be taking his top set out and sucking sherbet lemons in anticipation of the role.

Nailed on.

YHIHF.

If he is as good as reports suggest he will be in the 1st team squad before the season is finished.
Before the year was finished.
Must admit I was surprised to see him come on. Brave move by CW, especially as we brought RND on at the same time, so switched 50% of our defence out with 10 minutes remaining. Could have seen us lose shape and plenty of time for them to score 2.
Luckily it worked but he must be very highly rated at the club to be coming on already

Looked okay from the small amount of time he were on.. headed one away and did well on a cross.

Brave but as wilder says we had 3-4 players ill so either enforced or very shrewd.

Think man city let him go / sacked him, I'm sure city signed him from West ham.

Think he was caught doing that gas with balloons etc.
Thought he came from West Ham personally, either way he looks a decent talent. Hopefully he’s sorted his shit out

He initially did, ut then signed for Man City after West ham. Hopefully he sorts it out and can live up to his potential... he had been labelled as the next ferdinand (hopefully rio and not anton 😂)

Playing for ẁest ham and Man City tells you a lot .A natural athlete who almost threw his career away until we stepped in and gave him a chance.Played for England so championship is a level he can cope with now. Another Wilder rabbit out of the hat .

Could be a quietly excellent signing. Who knows. Anyone saying we need another CB might be forgetting about him

With the 'bigger' clubs hording a lot of the young talent, particularly in London it's understandable that a number of these players are becoming disillusioned and disenfranchised.

They're earning good money but not seeing any labor for their fruits, must be disheartening playing at u21's, reserves.

This has to be our recruitment strategy as well as the odd seasoned vet for the season long slog.

It’s something we seem to be finding more of peck is quality definatley hidden talents out there

Doesn't really show on the highlights but is this lad a unit ? Don't forget wilder will see him in training everyday so must see something in him (wh academy so can't be a donkey)

Think it was needs must as Gilchrist looked knackered. He’d had to cover all LH side with JRS not interested in getting involved.

It looked like Davis pucked up on the pitch at start of second half.

Yep, Davies was ill before the match, but with a threadbare squad, he knew he had to play. Great attitude.

I didn't get a good look at him, but he seemed a solidly built lad, not a huge bruiser, like Ebanks-Landell, but solid enough.
