Aye. Thomas is only 25 so is still a couple of years off his 'peak'. He's on loan at Carlise however which makes me think perhaps not many teams were in for him.

Also I can imagine it a bit demoralizing, no disrespect to Carlisle, going from a club of our size and infrastructure to one of theirs.

Quite possibly yes I was expressing my disappointment where the earlier post said he had become disruptive towards the end. No idea if that is true or not, he really doesn’t seem the sort but the 2 choices should always be sit on your contract and accept you’re sat in the stand every week or go and play your football elsewhere

Thomas went on loan to Gillingham at the start of this season but couldn't cope with being that far from his family, hence ending up back at Carlisle. I think the plan was to get him into a League One side after last season's stop-start spells in League Two.

He's another one we've left behind with our rapid rise.
