Jake Wright - lucky charm

After Southend Gate I started a thread demanding that Wright was put into the team. It took another loss at Millwall before CW saw the light but we haven't looked back since.
Not often I call these things correctly so just wanted to act like a smarmy t**t whilst the opportunity arose.

Might not be the best player, sloppy in possession sometimes and slow. Nor the biggest. But my my what a heart and desire to win games.

I don't think he's the answer long term but the shirt is his to lose now for a run of games. Hasn't let us down yet.

He's an organiser, reads the game well, talks a lot and sticks his body on the line when required. Wilder knows what he can and cant do and sets up to get the best out of him. He's miles better than anything we've had since Harry left and he looks like the bargain of the century.

4 in 4 for him. No coincidence. Outstanding.

Agreed - no coincidence that since he has been in the side, with Moore, we are winning games. Marshalls the defence really well, experienced and a leader. Exactly what we lacked last year at the back.

It also helps we have stopped hoofing the ball.
