GLTTL and hope he can help steady the ship at Bolton. A quality player, with much needed experience.

Great servant in the promotion season and the one after. I'll always remember him for a block at Hillsborough to a shot at the Leppings Lane end that seemed goal bound.

Sad what's happened to Bolton and even more Bury EFL hang your head in shame. Hope Bolton stay up and they've got a decent manager too.

Good luck to Jake and everything and I see they've signed Chris O'Grady, Daryl Murphy and Liam Bridcutt too but I have to draw your attention to the name of another player in their squad......

De'Marlio Brown-Sterling

It doesn't get much better than that.

Oh but it does. His 'middle' name is SHAKIE. 😆 😆 😆

The journey this club has been on couldn't have begun without JW. He was a crucial member of our L1 and 1st Year Championship squad and I genuinely believe Bash & JOC are better defenders for having played alongside him.

Good luck JW Snr. Your record speaks higher of you then anyone ever could.

I hope he’s a centre half. The Shakie-Jakies would make a great defensive partnership.

good luck to him, I still believe he was vital especially his leadership & organisation at the start of our journey as its no coincidence that upturn in form came post oxford. when he came into that back 3

He was a key part of ending our league 1 night mare. Good luck Jake, you will always be welcome in the City of Sheffield. Maybe avoid South Barnsley though! 😀

Well, he's signed up to an interesting project under Keith Hill there.

Keeping them up will be like winning a promotion. If he's playing well it would put him in a good position to negotiate an 18 month contract in January.

They've added some experience and Daryl Murphy is a striker who seems to have aged well. Didn't he go for 1m+ well into his 30s? Bridcutt, don't know what happened to him. He was playing for Sunderland in the Prem' having left Leeds' not that long ago. Still a decent age. Buckley is still in his 20s too. Will keep an eye on their results.

Wouldn't surprise me if they didn't have a decent month. Shame the football authorities couldn't say the same for Bury.

Seems to have happened rather quietly, and without an official announcement by us, but Wright’s loan was rather surprisingly cancelled earlier this month. Hope he finds something a bit more permanent this window, as like Stearman he’s the sort of player you would like to see playing and valued.
