I thought he had a good game v Leicester...i know we shipped 4,but i don't blame Eastwood..His kicking looks decent aswell,the away fans were trying to put him off,but it didn't bother him.
Happy to stick with Blackman for now,but I'd have no worries with this lad if called upon from what I've seen so far.

Personally I see him as our number 2 for next season. Wilder clearly rates him but maybe thought that it's a bit too early to put that kind of pressure on him so thought that a season loan would be a good stop gap.

Good business loaning Blackman all round in retrospect as it keeps Eastwood ticking along and developing without getting chucked in the deep end or blocking his path into the first team in the long term. Don't think anyone wants another George Long on our hands.

As we did last year if Eastman is number 3 he will play at under 23. A year at this level will do him no harm as he can train with the1st team coaches. I think he will be number 2 in a years time
