Not for £5k, the "assume he can be quickly match fit" is doing a lot of lifting in this hypothetical, even when match fit he was struggling to do 90 when we last had him. But for £1k it'd be worth it just to have him round as a role model/cool head in the dressing room and for whatever help he could give in training.Just for fun. The man has retired, but we'll assume he can be quickly match fit.
So right now (with things up in the air as they are), if he was keen... Would you sign him and parachute him into first team training this week?
