People will keep saying "great deal" no matter who we sell? But IS IT if we dont replace them or at least buy better? I keep hearing what a fantastic deal for the club Anel and Souza was (I get the Moore one a bit more) but it's not your money. If we dont spend it its a good deal for the owners NOT the team or club.

Like Moore, JLT would fit better in Parkinson's basic football style than what Selles is trying to instill. However, for all his faults and as much as I don't rate him, I'd be nervous about losing his leadership and determination from the spine and squad unless more / better are on their way. As suspected and as shown today, the lack of defensive quality (including in midfield) will leave Utd suseptable. Bristol City were clinical but I'd be surprised if they finish in the top 10 this season - better teams will find Utd very easy to play against.

See what we are like in a couple of weeks time, if these owners don’t start with investment as well as selling we are in trouble after that showing.

No problem with him going if we get a fee hes only got 1 year left on his contract. There comes a point however where you have to question the mentality of the owners recruitment team and manager if they think we can get in 3 quality experienced CB's and integrate them into the team at such short notice.

Im not JLT's biggest fan but even I realise its another experienced player thats going. If today showed anything it was that there were a lack of leaders which the younger players desperately needed out there on the pitch.
