CW made a sham effort to replace Souttar by rejecting other candidates and waiting till the end of the window before signing Holding (whom he knew was not match-fit) and hardly playing him ,
So that he could keep his mate Robbo in the team (bollox to promotion)
And thus trigger his option over the club for an extension to his 1-year contract.

A 1-year contract that everyone felt was to be Robbo's swansong on our bench.

Who ever heard of an aging , mistake-prone player - who was so poor that he was only worth a 1-year contract the previous summer - having an OPTION OVER THE CLUB for an extension ?
It's truly bizarre.
In fact it STINKS of corruption.

It was the last straw which broke my faith in CW.
And the Board must have been equally unimpressed when they realised what had happened.
Who knew that Robbo had such an option ?
And I guess it was CW's mate Bettis who sanctioned the terms of that contract the previous summer.

Now tell me we don't need a proper Director of Football.

So, let me understand what you're saying here.
Chris Wilder deliberately fucked up our chances of promotion so that Jack Robinson could trigger a contract extension?
Seriously?

An option based on appearances is pretty commonplace.

The rest of the post is pretty libellous stuff.

I assume your reaction will be… Well I was completely wrong about that one, but I reserve the right to be fully convinced everything else I think about JLT is definitely correct 🙂.

Those Birmingham fans must be livid about bloody boring 1-0 wins.
For someone who writes extremely long posts covering all kinds of information sources on other subjects, is this not a little bit of a small sample size to be proving a point nobody made and, even if they did doesn't exist as an option? No team in history has total control over 1 goal wins. The smaller the margin, the more chance for error.

Unless you're saying Wilder had uncovered a foolproof was to ensure all close games end in wins?

I'm surprised
He's jumped ahead of last seasons centre back partnership they were raving bout him and cashin who is a much better player .
Suppose that means he's not a left back playing centre back and has suddenly developed pace ,strength aerial dominance ability to pass a ball and discipline as well as being a team player

This is Wilder Derangement Syndrome on a whole new level. This might genuinely require professional help.

All the data needed for the reply was in 🙂

But you were wrong, right?

Tbf though they have quality CB options so I was also surprised he went straight in.

He will not start and will be 4th choice.

This is what I actually said

Doubt he will even get a game he's at least 4th choice and anyway what's he going to do shirt pull the ball into the net. ?
Wether he gets their player of the season or not he's still a massive cunt and I'm glad we got rid of him

Your opinion fair enough.

I note you have not conceded that, on your own statement in digital black and white that can be objectively measured, you were wrong.

Well yeah I was wrong but it was just an opinion
Based on not very little knowledge except for the fact I knew they had two very good centre backs whose names I don't know and then cashin .
I'm as surprised now as I was then so if that's wrong then fair fucks mate .

I'm not sure why me being wrong is so important to you but I'm wrong quite a lot about things

But I still think Robinson is a cunt and cost us promotion last year

Thank you for the reply. It’s only become an issue because some people seem convinced they are ‘right’ about JLT in all sorts of ways. It’s good to know we can all make judgements based on whatever we mean by ‘limited knowledge’ and accept that we may sometimes be ‘wrong’.

Looked a bit harsh to me.
Eye on the ball, his thigh catches the back of the other player's leg and sends him tumbling.
Naturally reaches out to break his fall and hardly touches the other bloke.
That's one way of seeing it. I saw it as fully deliberate as soon as he realised he'd missed the header. In his defence there was barely any contact and the lad went down like a sack of spuds but the ref had no choice really 🤷‍♂️

I think if you watch the slow mo, it shows the accidental contact that causes him to go down. then minimal contact that wasn't enough for the other player to go down like he did 2 or 3 steps later.
I guess reputation and circumstance at full speed was enough to give it, but on this occasion I think he was hard done by.

You’re right…watched it back and he accidentally stands on Wright’s foot

The telltale sign for me is the fact it happening on half way and no complaints from Chris Davies the Brum boss, if he would have thought it wasn’t deliberate he would had been jumping up and down the touch line. There isn’t anything in the Laws of the game to say how much contact but clearly contact and a yellow card for unsportsmanlike conduct definitely justified. With Robbo already being on a yellow he didn’t need to do it to be fair had a full half of the pitch to make up for his error or the keeper get involved/somebody else backtracking

Probably saw it as the ref did in normal time, and from that distance.
I suspect after he's watched it back, his post match interview will mention it being harsh.
