He's 18 and still at Celtic (ie not released I don't think)
I wouldn't have thought he'd move across to our development squad. Doesn't appear to be knocking on the door of the 1st team so I'm not sure what either club would gain. I wonder if United are looking at short term swaps with Rangers and Celtic to gain wider experience ?

Kirwan is another U17s player who is forcing his way into the U20 squad. He scored two goals against Inter Milan in the third place play-off on a recent trip to United Arab Emirates. He also captained Scotland at U16 level.
Missed a penalty in a shoot out which meant Rangers won a cup.
Should be perfect for us then
