Your post has been copied on to another forum HH... and apparently you should "grow up and stop bitching" and also that you're a "delicate wallflower".

I think you've found candidates likely to be in involved in the aggro...

...because obviously having a 4yr old in that kind of atmosphere is sensible and doesn't scare the poor little mite

This has been a very interesting thread for me, thoroughly enoyed the read

Sorryto hear about your decision HH, but im sure that you shall grace the lane with your attendance again, noone can leave completely ;)

I find this interesting for many reasons, simply because of my own thoughts when deciding that mini MAQ was old enought to attend the holy land. Now i dont professto have seen as many highs and lows as many of you on here, and although i have been a blade all my life, but only been an attendee for give or take 10 years full time and 5 years part time, i have seen my share of highs, lows (and as you mentioned HH) the nasty side of away days (although im ashamed to say that some of those occasions they were willingly). Thankfully those days are long behind me, and i have equally distanced myself from those times.

So in choosing to take Mini MAQ to the holy land we sat in a variety of locations around the ground, in every stand except the KOP. My personal oppinion is that (Knowing my daughter) this wasnt the location for us. More recently having attended the Barnsley away match and unknowingly being seated in the "Lions Den" that was the bottom corner i now know that she would infact be able to cope with the KOP that i remember. However after reading this thread im pretty sure that we have probably got the right location for us. We are in the south stand Gangway B Row A (come and say hi if your in the area, im the Short Baldy with a little girl usually in pink). I say the perfect location simply because we are surrounded by a nuber of other season ticket holders and also some spare seats to our right which usually allows me to get tickets for MAQ senior and Ex-wife MAQ.

There is still the foul language on a number of occasions, and it does seem to be getting more and more, usually with one familiar voice slating the "Lino", however my personal approach to this is as long as mini MAQ doesnt here it coming from me, then i have full ability to tell her off should she see the humour in repeating such language. Im not attempting to say that im an angel, my past simply throws that out of the window, but although language is controlable and i can make my points without the need for vulgaraties, i honestly dont believe that this will ever be eradicated.

Hopeto see you again at some point HH, but once you feel comfy with returning, possibly in a different area of the ground.

We moved from the Kop when the new John Street stand opened....well a couple of seasons before when we was on The South Stand for a season or 2.

We moved because the view is crap for youngsters and the "idiots" that were there then.

I know you are so unhappy with the situation HH but for every idiot we have 100 fans who i'd be happy to call my friend.

I know this because of this very forum.

I've met young and old who i'm proud to call my friends. Although some hurt me at forum footy. :D

Indeed HH you are one of those friends!

:)
