Saw someone posted on Shoutbox yesterday “One more sleep” & it had me tittering all day.
Well - no more sleeps now fella, whoever you are. I’ve been feeling pretty chilled out all week but woke early this morning with a funny feeling in my tummy.
Anyway, I’ve told Mrs Godric to give it 10 mins before she goes in & vowed to not eat peanuts again at night.
Back to the football - feeling strangely confident for a derby-day & can’t wait for the build up to start properly later.
There’ll be goals tonight & as long as we get 1 more than them, I’ll be content. I hope we drub the fuckers though.

And they know how we'll set up? Look, they're a fucking shambles. Their manager is an unknown quantity unlike CW who is one of the most respected managers outside the PL. They're unfit (according to George Boyd) and will 'take weeks, months to get up to speed'. Their 'fans' will be outnumbered ten to one. Our players have character, class and willpower - all lacking in the pigs.

It's always the biggest game because it affects everybody's mood more than any other and for longer.

I don't mind admitting that. For 1 day league positions, promotion/relegation etc just don't matter. Win that 90 minutes and I get at least 8 months of happiness
