Its time Mr Warnock

Absolutely not. He's had his time and thanks a lot Neil. His return would be a disaster. Should we appoint Bassett and Adams to the coaching staff as well?

Let's try proper football this time, eh?

Ah but could he come up with something as clever as last night's kick-off tactics?

"Right lads we always concede a few, so what I want you to do with a kick-off is kick it straight back to our keeper who can then hoof it straight up front"

Happened at least twice last night from our kick-off. Ball was passed from the centre circle straight back to Bunn ... pathetic!

As I recall, the kick-off tactic under Warnock was pass back to Jags who then launched it invariably to the corner flag or out for a goal kick.

Yep thats where Blackwell has picked up some of his crap tactics from Warnock.

Bringing Warnock back would be taking 1 step forward and 2 steps back.

was re appointed as Blades manager.

You know it makes sense Mr McCabe.

Is this the manager who,in the most important game of our premier league season, played our best midfield player/centre half at right back just to mark McCulloch, played a central midfield player with a dislocated shoulder, brought in an inexperienced midfield player who had been left out of the last few games and failed to put sufficient striking options on the bench ?

In addtion,he didn't ensure we had cover for our best striker during the transfer window and decided to waste money on players who were not able to command a first team place instead.

The man had the chance and blew it.

But who got us there in the first place????

GOOD OLD WARNOCK!!!!!

Personally I think it would be a good appointment. The man is pure passion, something a lot of our matches this season seem to have lacked. Fair enough the football wasn't pretty but neither was stoke's when they went up and yet with a few good investments that we seemingly lacked when we made it, they are flying. Soft as it seems I think that could have been us

and he had treble the amount of time that Blackwell has had.He hadtwo seasons where we performed decently .Most of his seasons, many fans wanted him out(Millwall at home anyone ?)

Had his chance and blew it ? ? ?

is this the man who took us to 2 semi finals a play off final and got us promoted to the premiership only to be relegated on the last day by 1 goal !

since he left Robson tried to get us to play football it didn't work blackwell got us to a playoff final but no we need to rebuild look where we were in 1999 when Warnock came in and look at the job he did the passion he brought every play had to be prepared to die to wear the red and white shirt and would give everything till the end.

i for one would welcome hiim back tomorrow for what he did overall and not judge him on 1 game.

If Warnock returns I'm moving house to somewhere where it's too far to travel from.

Excuse syntax.

Would this be Neil Warnock, manager of Crystal Palace, who happen to only be one place above us in the table?

Totally agree.

Now I'm not just picking on you Keenz, but as you've been around the longest in this thread, it's easier to look back.

A search on your early posts on this forum suggest that you weren't in favour of Warnock throughout the Premiership season and that you weren't exactly upset that he went.

I've noticed a few who were anti-Warnock looking back with either rose-tinted specs, or the hindsight to admit to themselves that he wasn't as bad as they thought he was at the time.

A question to all of those turncoats ;)

Which is it?

Did you overreact with regards to Warnock from 2004 onwards?

Or are you sticking by your previous supposition that he's crap, but want him back as manager?

think I would honestly stop going if Warnock came back. I want a break from the 100% kick and rush direct nonsense. I don't think I can take anymore.

1 place above us but

4 pts better off
5 pts off a play off place
and not allowed to bring players in due to a transfer ban.

UTB:thumbup:

in my eye's warnock is number 1(manager) where as blackwell is number 2 (ass manager) blackwell is no way as good as warnock!!!
