Having read a post about Vinnie Jones elsewhere, I think he could also do a job on the motivation side.
We could have DB, NW and VJ for a charge of the light brigade up the Championship.

Why automatically rule out anyone who has managed us in the past?

I am a strong supporter of Blackwell, and he isn't going to be replaced any time soon. But if we were managerless, I would hope that we would be looking at all potential candidates regardless of whether they had been at the club before. IMO Stewart McCall, Steve Bruce or even Neil Warnock should not be ruled out as a potential future manager just because they have been at the club previously.

Comments like "never look back, always look forward" are meaningless. If you followed such a rule, players like Jags and Naughton would not be allowed to play for the club again.

Off to see DB what he does best these days - tell stories - on Friday night at a Dinner. At least it will bring back memories of success and, although it was direct football, effective, direct football and exciting games.
