So far we've made what look to be 4 cracking signings that look to bring buckets of quality and an obvious improvement in certain areas of the pitch.

Cloughy hinted that another striker as of last week still very much remained on his wanted list and i'm sure we all agree.

My choice for a centre half would be Andy Butler at Walsall. Let them keep Brandy and give them some cash to bring this very good defender (and their Captain) to The Lane. According to Wikipedia, his contract expires in June.
In fact, while you're at it Cloughy, make him skipper as well.

I'd rather sign a replacement for Doyle and ship him off to bongo bongo land rovers, than a defenderer. Got plenty of players who can fill in if summat happens to Collins or Maguire. Not gonna happen though i know. Clough obviously likes Doyle. The best thing we could do is sign up Brayfs on a permo. Unlikely the board will stump up the readies for that though, even if we could somehow persuade him to drop 2 divisions.
