BRAZIL ....... It's just like watching Brazil

(all together now)

Brazil ......

:D

There's a distinct lack of buck-toothed, samba-dancing, bandana sporting, greasy haired, transsexual shagging, erection failing flash twats.

Unless you count Mousey.:D

Good today though. If I dare say it, a bit too easy and it sort of reduced the excitement. 3 - 0 really flattered Colchester.

I felt like that v Bury. Seems like there is a massive gulf in quality in this division.

Great performance today. Everyone played well but special praise for Ched - outstanding. One slight complaint - someone explain the offside rule to Porter! :)

why just Porter ? Why not Quinn ,caught countless times ,Oh yes I forgot he's the new whipping boy.

their defence held a really good line and were well drilled at offside.. we need to be just as cute.. we started to get to grips with it toward the end though

The Brazilian side considered the most fluent that lost to Italy in 1982 would have won it if theyd had Quinn

LEAVE OFF PORTER , HES JUST GETTING BACK TO PLAYING REGULAR GAMES
GETTING BETTER BY EVERY GAME

Someone needed to explain it to the linesman. At least twice when he was offside he looked on to me

Good to hear Porter is improving then! I wasn't impressed the other week v Bury (despite his goal)

Ahh and Ched does good again. Its all coming along quite nicely for the lad now, except for his court case...

der because he was caught offside as many times as Porter. Btw I love Porters disregard of the offside rule when he scored. Thought Quinn was OK today but can play a lot better ,a couple of times he hid again and left Richards exposed ,the crowd had a go at Macdonald but the players had a go at Quinn. I actually think he can be a very good player ,but needs to keep his concentration.

i'd agree with that but i think it is because he sometimes tries too hard and attempts to carry the team himself

What u on about? He's not a whipping boy for me. He was just offside a lot - & in the 2nd half a number of our attacks were held up because he was clearly offside - the rest of the team could see that and so had to hold back from playing the ball forward until he got back onside. Quinn was fractionally offside a couple of times when trying to make runs from deep whereas at times Porter just stood in a clearly offside position. He took his goal well but needs to look along the line more - it's not difficult. Quinn was excellent. I'd put him 2nd behind Ched as MoM.

Loved seeing porters goal, a real long ball goal. Big punt up field, bounce, boom, goal! Have a pint of lager for that one Ollie :)

Effective football's what it's about ;)

It was a pinpoint pass Swiss!? ;) I actually had a few lagers last night. Went to a shite party and there was no real ale in sight. Too many cans of Kronenbourg. Reit headache this morning. Had to go back to bed for an hour.

Ha ha good work fella, although what's this headache nonsense, perhaps you need to put a splash of lemonade in your beer ;)

If Porter keeps on scoring then he'll do fine for me. I remember a certain Keith Edwards being labelled "offside Edwards" for a time, but nobody moaned because he scored regularly. An Edwards type of player is what we need.

Porter is nothing like Edwards at all.

Not sure if you are saying so but nothing like.

Perhaps he is, a little. Neither have (had) a paticular aspect to their game that looks paticularly strong (power, pace, trickery) yet Edwards just knew how be in the right place and how to finish. Perhaps Porter will be the same for us.

I suppose what I mean is that he could do very little or keep being offside for most of the game, but then pops up with a winning goal every other game. Other than that, he's nowt like Edwards.

Thinking about the Bootlegger alco owd mucker (http://web.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/39/39385/Bootlegger/High_Wycombe). 7 ales on tap. Not 100% sure yet though. 270 different bottled beers, so I'd be pretty disappointed if you chose Stella out of that .....

If we win with a goal like Porter's then I might celebrate with a nice fizzy turbo shandy!? ;) hoof!! :D

* Swiss to explain

If your looking for a place to go to pre-match Wycombe, look no further than the White Horse.

Its a strip club and the birds seem to be on all day, mostly fizzy water on tap unfortunately for fans of real ale, but its a bit of a unique experience prior to games!

Bit of a trek to the ground, usually get someone posting on the forums from there telling you about it so saved them a job.
