It's inevitable

All League 1 sides have to live with the sales of their best players, bar none?? Tell me otherwise.
I can't disagree with that but it's what you then replace them with once they're gone and this is where we seem to fail year upon year.

well you have to analyze, what has Adkins brought to the party
and to be fair
I cant come up with a single positive
Id have accepted treading water, but we seem to be wearing lead diving boots
no one hes added has made us better, which Im sure is the gist

Id try someone new now before the window closes , if he cant find at least one Im sure someone could

Foxy, FOXY. We've been hacked!

Only needs WHF to question God Nigel and I'm off until a full security audit has taken place.

well I gave him every chance , as you do , we always hope this is the one
but games are running out, hes been in charge with cup games for40 or so games
and how many have been entertaining
how many have offered fresh hope for the future
how many of the staff hes added have added to the team , Sharp apart

Analytically in real terms weve gone backwards, the team doesnt excite , the players , none you can say well he could win us a game
and he hasnt added to even try and improve it
I can hardly contain my indifference towards him

The problem with that is I don't see sacking Adkins as boosting our season ticket sales.

He's a symptom, not the problem. I think most people see that.

Most of us fans see it that way but I fear the board see it very differently. If we aren't careful we could very soon be 10 points or so behind sixth place. The fans will be even more pissed off at the situation and less likely to renew season tickets.

The board would think 'well if we manage to put a good run of form together between now and the end of the season we may be able to boost sales.' And hey presto, the manager will be sacked in the hope of getting the new manager bounce by appointing a new man.

And the circus would continue.

To be honest BTL. joking aside, I'm really underwhelmed by his efforts, BUT as I think I might have mentioned elsewhere, less than 2 years isn't enough time to change managers unless they are taking you to the brink of relegation, and we haven't got that bad YET!

but we shouldnt settle for maybes
maybe he will bring some good players
maybe we might start playing attractive football
maybe we might look like scoring in every game

then again ,maybe not
if hed offered a few crumbs of hope , scattered a few seeds of new growth
Id be right behind him
but hard as you look , theres not much there to instill that belief
Ids truly back him if even the smallest forward steps had begun
