Weir is going to be sacked in the next month or so, I think that's pretty much a given, so why drag it out? the sooner we get rid of this clueless fool the quicker we can start to try to turn it around. We need a new manager in in time for the Crawley game, forget Wolves that is a certain hammering whatever.

Get shut, get a Proper manager in to stop the rot before we are relegated.

Heard his interview on the radio, he is so uninspirational. No wonder the team play like that. He needs to go by MONDAY McCabe. You say you don't read the internet forums so Simon please tell him!

Serious question, we were better today and still lost.

How can Weir pull this round, what else can he do?

Did you really think we were better today? I thought it was an action replay of the MK game. Despite numerous new players we are not getting any better from what I can see and I have seen all the home games.

We were better yes but no where near good enough. I would take Wilson back its got that desperate.

Of today's team, the back 5 were exactly the same as last seasons tighter than the proverbial defence. Of the other 6 starters only Doyle was not a Weir signing. He has now signed - what is it - 11 new players, with only McDonald being a significant departure. No manager has been given that sort of funds for 3-4 years.

This team should be challenging seriously for automatic, The fact that we are in serious shit shows, I am afraid, that Weir is just not up to it.

Once a team goes into this kind of tail spin it takes a hell of a lot to get out of it, and the longer you leave it the nearer we get to bombing out of the trap door..
Unbelievably we still have some saying it doesn't mater if we go down, give him time.
They seem to forget that that's how we got into this Division in the first place, so how long do we give him ?
Till we're in the Conference league !!!!.

I hate the way clubs sack managers so readily nowadays and was going to give weir 10 league games before making my mind up. That said, I am yet to see any improvement at all. Yes we have brought in new faces and they need time to learn each other's game but I don't any cohesion, attacking flair, will to win and not a set of bollocks between them. If I could see the semblance of a decent side I would be prepared to give him time but we aren't even looking like winning a game. The longer we leave it, the further the rot sets in and the harder it becomes for him to turn it round.
For me, I would give him the wolves game and if we still see nothing, sack him.

I was furious last week but I'm afraid apathy and acceptance that we are shit and not going up this season has see me just 'meh'. The team is bereft of confidence. Just were the hell will out next points come from. Were will pur next goal come from? All teams realise they need to do is get pressing us.ewit for a mistake and score. They know we will not come back.

We've got a squad of players here to match anybody in this league they are not brilliant but they are top six minimum

What we have got is a rookie manager who is persisting with these tactics which clearly aren't working and has no intentions of changing them.
The man is showing pure arrogance it's like he's trying to prove a point but it will be his inevitable downfall

I'd give him until mid November if we get the odd point and there are some signs of improvement. We aren't that far off - I've said elsewhere, we need a bit of steel in midfield.

Two worrying points for me:
1. I keep hearing how much things needed to change, but is that really true? We got to the play-offs in the last 2 seasons so surely it's not that big a leap to automatic promotion?
2. Weir has brought in 11 players, had some pre-season games, and now 8 League games. I would have accepted a poor start if there were signs of improvement. But there aren't - in fact we seem to be getting worse.

I was really optimistic that Weir would be the right man to get us moving forward again. But it looks like he isn't. The "give me time" mantra is wearing thin.

If I were Prince Abdullah I would be chairing a meeting first thing Monday morning asking Weir & Carsley what they intend to do to turn things around. I'd also be looking round at available managers....

This is an exceptionally good point. It's like we are back where we were 3 years ago except a division lower.

Relegation is never a good thing, and anyone who said they were "happy" for us to go down then "so we can rebuild and come back stronger" is a moron.
