Announcement is coming at either the end of this week, or next week once the odds and sods are sorted.

It's still 2/1 on sky bet........
 

That isn't a bad appointment if it happens.

Puts the rumors to bed about Ferdinand, whoever started that rumor must have been pissed.
 
yeah... I be glad for it to be over, so we can get started with preparation for next season. Not the worst choice if it does happen!
 
I for one will be very happy with this appointment if it comes off.
Young,enthuisiastic,talks sense,plays the game correctley and has couped some decent names at franchise fc.
Smith,chadwick anyone??

Flynn
Howard
Coyne
Jean-Francois (Injury Prone)
Hill (fat waste of space, his fault against Yeovil)
Williams (again, waste of space)

3-4 signings and blood in Macfadzean, Willis (number 2), Diego, Whitehouse, Ironside, Kennedy for next season and we should be fine, a bit of stability...

Even better if we can keep hold of Long/Maguire.

Gav, in what world are you living in where you seriously believe McCabe will back a manager and sign players like this??

hope you're not pillocking brownie for more reasons than one

Robinson for me would be one of only 2 or 3 that I would be happy with considering the list on offer

And seeing as I nicked 28/1 at Skybet only a few days ago then I definately would be well happy :)

I really don't think we will get Robinson as I don't think we will pay the compensation Mk Dons will ask for him. He could get a job at most Championship teams who will pay the compensation required, why would he want to come to us. We have no money, we have no quality players, the board has no ambition.

I know he was bigger, but with KM's record, I never contemplated or believed he could at long last make a decision that was remotely considered to be half decent

Did you stick a few bob on him foxy?

There was a few things going unreported at the fans forum

One of which was where McCabe identified what sort of manager he wanted, a young up and coming manager. It was mentioned that a couple of managers who had been to Bramall Lane this season has said they would jump at the chance of coming to Bramall Lane, then John Garrett mentioned the name Robinson with a big smile on his face, before a cutting gesture was made to Foxy and Linz.

I had my money on that night. Morgan was something like 1/2 on sky bet, and everyone else was long odds.

What I've heard today leads me to think it is right, and Robinson is inbound over the next few days.
