Duffy was outstanding yet again. Fleck and O'Connell also excellent.

It was a very good second half performance. We completely took over in midfield.

And don't doubt how much difference the Kop finally waking up made.

And as usual the kop gets a sarcastic mention. Been brilliant all season, I know cos I sit on it, you may need a hearing test.

Just what Wilder has said in his interview.

Disagree.. it was a magnificent second half performance.

Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't help but read that as a little dig at the kop at the end?

I assume you sit on one of noisier, rowdy stands?

Duffy- awesome and instrumental as usual.

Fleck - fairly standard fleck. Controlled midfield, gave excellent drive to attack and defence. Just telepathic relationship with Coutts

O'Connell - sorry, totally disagree. Think that first half was his worst 45 minutes in a blades shirt. Just how I saw it. Improved 2nd but still the worst of the back 3 for me.

Think Stevens just gets better and better too. Perhaps an under appreciated player somewhat. Also thought Billy was really good throughout. Oh, and Clarke was OK...

You obviously can't remember the first half can you. It was pathetic. Brilliant all season is also a big exaggeration.

I'm right in the middle of it. I'm perfectly placed to comment. Sometimes it's bizarre just how flat it is. There are times where nobody seems bothered. Then when it takes off it usually stays decent.

Given the difference it can make and given the fantastic team we're now watching I can't understand it. It doesn't take a lot of effort.

Fleck and Duffy's performances today probably has a lot to do with them not starting at QPR.

They will have both been at 100%.

They certainly played like they were.

This is how rotation can work for you.

Let's hope those 3 can stay fit and free of suspension. It was noticeable how much we missed Fleck and Duffy at QPR. Hopefully Wilder has got another similar player up his sleeve for January..

I thought Stevens was average today, quite sloppy at times.

Can't remember O'Connell doing much wrong at all and he got forward well. Should've scored though, like at QPR.

Also thought CCV was tidy and solid. He set up the first goal didn't he? That was a classic attack for us and a feather in the cap for the way we play.

What, winning one and losing one of every 2 games?

Leon's 2nd was premiership class. I still don't know how he managed to chip the keeper from about 6 inches.
He's really good at that and nobody else in the club would have scored that, in my opinion.

Because you know we would've won at QPR if Duffy started don't you?

Who knows? It may well have helped starting the guy who assisted both goals in the previous game, plus the one who scored one of them.

I understand that Wilder has commented since the game that leaving Duffy out might have been an error...

Has he? Whether it was an error or not, it contributed to Duffy's freshness today and he was the instigator behind so much of our good play. Same with Fleck, who was also brilliant.

The error on Tuesday in my opinion was playing Brooks in his position and not Carruthers.

Well I'm at the back of it, and I dont think there was a spell longer than 2 minutes today where me and the lads I go with weren't singing or trying to get something going.

Maybe if the lads in the middle joined in a bit more we'd have a better atmosphere?

Or more likely; the crowd is generally reactionary: the manner in which the team start and events on the pitch generally dictate the atmosphere.

Either way, I'm surprised after such a good game and a terrific atmosphere (or so I thought) you feel the need to question the support.

I was saying same, I thought keeper did well to close it down but Clarke just casually flicked it over him. Reyt finish.

My comment isn't only a criticism though is it? I'm also pointing out that it can and does make a difference.

The crowd is reactionary. Too much so. It was a good atmosphere in the second half, but after the 53rd minute we were either level or winning weren't we?

There are always a few who try to get it going but there are times when they might as well not bother. First half today was one of those times.

Flecks corners were terrible first half

I don't think we'll see eye to eye on this. I thought the crowd started well, were a little subdued after the goal (just like all football fans are) and were magnificent from then on.

I think our support is great, with the kop being integral.
