It was coming from 25 minutes in

Yup. The last time we were promoted we'd have 20 minute spells where we looked like the best team in the league, but distinctly average for the remaining 70.

We were all over them, playing nice football, looking dangerous every time we attacked. We even had a shite keeper scoring an own goal, rock bottom confidence, but still did nothing after 25 minutes. We stopped pressing, dropped deep, basically playing in to their hands.

Why can't we keep the intensity up? Are we unfit? Leeds looked like they could run all day while we were conserving energy for most of the game.

As usual all the little rats surface to have a public melt down after a set back. Pathetic.
Little rats? Not sure that's necessary/true.

We've just got beaten at home by our local rivals after surrendering a lead. We were better than them until we stopped playing and allowed them to do what they wanted (ie win). This isn't the first time we've given the game away after a promising start so we're entitled to be pissed off about it.

Either the opposition is changing their system to nullify us once they figure us out, or we're changing the system once we're ahead which then nullifies us. Either way the management has to be much better and sort this out sooner rather than later.

He's been back 15 months or so. Nothings changed. Nothing will, this is what he is. It's not going to be good enough.

Nowt wrong wi a public meltdown now n again. S2 is the perfect vehicle to get all the irrational anger out your system…Move on.

They don’t really though, do they. We have better players than most of the division, and it is moments of individual quality that will continue to win us the majority of games. It certainly isn’t tactics. And in this division this season that might be enough to take us up.

Didn’t really expect anything from this game they have far more potential pacey players that can hurt you. Plus they have a manager with a plan and style of play.

But they need to be getting their act together in case we do go up. Because if they don't we may make Derbys 11 points seem like Citys 100

Not sure about it being on the cards after 25 mins. I thought we looked good value until they scored. The space down the right was concerning but I thought Leeds looked ordinary and we looked dangerous.
The subs seemed to unsettle us, it’s true.

At this point who cares about next season? Finish second and then let’s start worrying about the next campaign.

Why on this forum aren’t you allowed to criticise how a game has panned out? It doesn’t mean you’re a bed wetter or snowflake. FFS some people need to see the reality, yes Wilder has done a fantastic job, but his substitutions were a bad call

Not sure what bringing on an unfit Hamer was going to do, other than get him yet another yellow card.

"might" isn't good enough! They need to sort it out to make sure we're good enough. We can't rely on individual quality with our injury and disciplinary records because we could find those players aren't available to produce those moments of quality.

If we don't go up we lose Hamer, Souza, Ahmedhodzic and Cooper. Robbo and Brewster get new deals. And Cannon is our main striker. We can't let that happen!

Nothing will change this season. You’re naive if you think it will. We’re 2nd in the league so the management won’t see any need to change things.

Although I have a horrible feeling that Burnley’s signing of Marcus Edwards may prove to be the game changer…..,

I thought we were fine after 65/70 minutes then they put more energy on the pitch with their substitutions. BBD was blowing out of his arse and our subs lost us width. They were much the better side after that with midfield getting beyond ours. They took chances,we didn’t.

1st half we were excellent first 30 minutes….Leeds hardly touched the ball…couldn’t settle.
Then from about 35 minutes they started showing if getting their game together and looked a threat in the final minutes

2nd half I expected Leeds to up their game but for 15 minutes we were slightly the better side and we looked comfortable.
Think changed half way through the 2nd half when they started to dominate.

Overall we played well…but Leeds were slightly better and just about deserved the win.
We’re still 2nd in the league….so we regroup and go for a win away at QPR next week.

If we do go up we’ll have new management before 2025 is out.
I’m sure you are not far wrong on that, thought we looked good for 65 minutes, they made subs, changed the dynamic and shape and we didn’t respond, lost width, unfit Hamer, lightweight centre forward,Davies square peg,and dropped back 10 yards. They will be looking at him closely as the players he brought in are decent but the game management is not enough from the sideline. You knew what was going to happen after 70 minutes.

Just like when they played Sunderland last week, Leeds just found an extra gear and got the 3 points.

As much as I hate losing to Leeds in general, there's no shame in losing to that Leeds side who should be more than 5 points clear of 2nd.

Wilder had it right after the reverse fixture, whoever finishes above Leeds will win the league, especially after they've had 6 points off of us and Sunderland in the space of a week.

Our performance in that last 20-25 minutes was rather flat compared to the rest of the game, but that doesn't mean we're not good enough to go up, we've played worse than that and still won games.

We've got 12 games left, just pick up as many points as we can and see where we are at the end of the season.

Playoffs would still be a good achievement this season (given where we were last summer) even if it would be a little disappointing given how we've been in the top 2 for most of the season.
