I actually think that Peanuts had a similar thing in its earlier years too.

I've just gone against everything I've ever said and had a quick glance at that. There's one or two genuine people who are worried about their club, trying to tell some of their own fans that we are actually a good side but they keep getting shouted down, it's absolutely hilarious.

The reason united fans are taking the piss is because of the spouting they did all pre-season about how hard we would find it and how Sharp would never score. That's what they don't seem to get. Nobody on here is saying we will finish above them or we will get into the play offs. We are taking the piss because at this moment in time everything they said would happen hasn't happened.

Our season is all about consolidation as we are a newly promoted side. They have to get promoted. The pressure is on them in a big way and not only have they got off to a poor start they are also having to watch their neighbours, who have spent fuck all, above them in the league. It's easy to see why that thread turns into an argument. The pressure and expectation levels they have are hard enough without having us in the league doing better than expected.

They are completely mad and all the guff about the "vast chasm" is coming back to bite them on the arse.

The fact that our striker who they said could not score in the championship because it is so good is on 5 goals. Their overpaid bottle job who is the self proclaimed best striker in the championship is on a big fat zero. It's like everyone of their predications is going wrong ha ha

Bloody hell roy I was posting my message the same time you sent yours and it's pretty much what I have put. I have not seen hardly any blades say we would finish above them or in the top 6 yet they all know a blade who says we will get in the top 6!

They are mental and the longer we are above them the more they are squirming and I am loving it. They are starting to realise we have a very very good manager in charge and it's killing them. If we beat them at hillsborough it will be full on meltdown.

The fact that none of the sensible reasons that you have stated would even register with most of them, makes it all the sweeter.
My favorite is the one that says their aim isn't to finish above us, it's to get promoted, because if they finish below us...&...get promoted, we would have had a bloody good first season.

Them's the facts, you saddos. It's called team spirit, momentum and a manager who gets the very best out of his players. All three things which we embarrassingly lack for all the money DC throws at it.

Not for any moment saying the Blunts will go up - but they are playing better football than us at present.
The derby could be an uncomfortable 90 mins, especially when you factor in our inability to score more than one goal in the league and CC's inability to get us to turn up for both halves.



They have had a tricky start and started well. They will come here in a few weeks with confidence.
It will not be an easy game and I worry some of our bottlers won't turn up for it.
Don't blame them really. The striker we said wouldn't cut it has scored more than our entire team. We would laugh too


There is a saying in football, you create your own luck!
if we had got the same points total from that start the majority of our fans would be well happy.
