It could be worse .............

Best season ever and all that , i have come to terms with it now that the season will probably not finish, but lets have scenarios where it could be worse , here is 3 from me

1) It could have been last season , and with no promotions or relegation's like in the non leagues , WE COULD BE STILL IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP .

2) We could have not won another match this season and fallen down the league , where as now we will get the money for 7th Place !

3) We could have this man in charge ...



I am struggling with number 2 as we all know we could have won the FA cup , and qualified for Europe , kin hell !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree Adam73 it must finish even if matches are behind closed doors and televised.
Next season may start months late but better that than have this season null &void.
A number of teams would claim compensation ! that's another reason it will finish no matter how long its delayed.

I've got to point out that he isn't well qualified to speak for the EPL football world. Yes there are people wanting to scrap this season but I doubt any of them are thinking about it for health reasons the only ones that really matter. It's time for everybody in the football world to man up, take responsibility for what has happened so far and accept the consequences of the season finishing. If that means Sheffield United lose every game that is left and end up 14th so be it, we will have got there on merit over a season. If we fall just short of Europe, on goal difference it's because we didn't score more when we had good chances to put teams away. It would be utterly ridiculous to stop this season start a new one because let's face it 10 games in a new pandemic could break out.

Like i have said i have come to terms , the News isn't good , i have personally been laid off , this virus is going to change the world for good , football is not life and death , i really do think this season will not finish .

It will, it has to. Like u I am without an income right now but what keeps me going is my family and the Blades. They won't give up on me and I won't give up on them. We'll come through this pal, really we will.

I think the season has to finish simply because a new one wouldn’t be allowed to start with court injunctions brought by clubs who would lose out by millions. The fall out would be far greater. I too am without an income until June at the earliest but we will get through this one way or another. Hope the same applies to everyone else
