Big Sister to rock the Lane
Rock band 'Big Sister' will perform their latest single and kick-off a world's first at Bramall lane on Saturday.

The band, featuring Elouise and her brother Tom, are to appear at half-time during United's Premiership clash with Bolton.

Big Sister are managed by Blades season ticket holder Selwyn Korklin and the singing duo have written 'Come on Sheffield United' to celebrate the club's rise to the Premiership.

The single is unique as it will be the first in the world to feature Braille on the cover and on the CD, allowing visually impaired people to know its content.

Music producers ASB Ltd, on their Blades Record Label, has worked with the Blades to develop the special single. Selwyn, co-director of ASB, said: "Braille is not included on many items including CD's, mainly because of the way it is produced. However, now it can be done and ASB are proud to be the first music company in the world to recognise this.

"I have been a supporter of the Blades since the age of five and when this opportunity came up to do a single, there was only one club we wanted to sing about. We were therefore delighted to have the involvement of Sheffield United Football Club.

"The positive response has been extraordinary and we hope the Blades fans like the song. ASB will include a Braille option on all future releases and want to encourage all other record companies to do the same."

Sheffield United commercial manager Andy Daykin, added: "We are pleased to support ASB and 'Big Sister' on this great CD, I'm sure it's going top be a hit with our supporters.

"It's a great achievement by them to produce the world's first braille CD and a unique way to celebrate the club in the Premiership."

The single is now available to buy from the club superstore at Bramall Lane priced £3.99, and BladesWorld subscribers can click here to see an exclusive Big Sister performance.

Tickets to see the Blades against Bolton and Big Sister are now on sale, with the United Box Office open from 8am until 8pm on Thursday and Friday.
