Sorry but being a pedant I have to point out that the Arsenal figure is correct as it's tickets sold, not actual attendance. The Arsenal figure is misleading because for anything other than the games against major/top 6 teams, there are at least 5000 empty seats every week. The seats are sold but the ticket-holders just don't turn up.
While I'm sure the same phenomenon occurs at Stamford Bridge, OT, Anfield etc.. the scale of it at Arsenal is much, much greater than elsewhere.
I can't even be bothered to boo.No its not too big. If we had bigger crowds I wouldn't be able to put my feet on the seat in front, lean back and enjoy the game.
It would feel less a 'leisure experience' and more like 'supporting'.....and no one wants to do that do they?
Although our capacity is listed as 32000 im pretty sure that we will never actually get that figure due to SYP segregation?
If you don't have a big ground or capacity you have every chance of having a good percentage, unless you go to the pigs ground then that is pity full, but they are massive or did they mean massive spaces.
I wonder how many surplus fans West Ham have, their new ground capacity will be 54000 compared to 35333 today
I stand correctedFreudian slip? Surely you meant 'pitiful'?
Would be even worse without the usual 2-4k away fans....
