I don't think that there is any doubt that he is a Blade through and through. To be fair to Sean Bean , who is a true blade and thespian . Having his equity card signed by Sir Ralph Richardson and that Mr Bridges in the Italian job will do for me . Ex welder , Sheffield lad come good , who does not forget his roots.

Was excellent in King Lear at the Old Vic some years ago , so both good on the stage and screen.

As they say , you can take the lad out of Sheffield , but you cannot take Sheffield out of the lad.

He can also take and give the piss , which is a sign of a good lad.
